Build a timeline
Write down when you entered South Africa, which documents you held, when applications or decisions were made, and when you left or were removed. Mark dates you are unsure about.
Keep the original notices
Gather clear copies of passports, visas, permits, asylum documents, receipts, rejection letters and any undesirable, prohibited or removal notices. Do not alter official records.
Share carefully
The free checker does not upload files. Only send sensitive documents through a secure process after you understand who will receive them, why they need them, and how they will be retained.
